Rustic, and oh-so-comfortable gem
Our group has been going to EE Ranch for at least 15 years, only missing a few (when the place was being rid of the bats– see previous review) and last year (during the remodel upgrades). Even though those other places were wonderful (YMCA of the Rockies last year) they don’t hold a candle to this place. EE sleeps 15 in real twin or full to king-size beds, then another ten in a bunk room (bunk beds are best for kids/more-hardy sleepers). Great room/fireplace, kitchen/dining areas are the highlight. Throw in a steam room, wi-fi, Large screen TV if you need it… well, it’s magical– made more so by the wonderful accumulation of memories. Have a family reunion or your church-or-whatever group every year, and you will be glad you did.

“Remote Rustic Lodge for a Large Group”
What a gem! Our group of 25 rented Eagle Eye Ranch for 3 days and we enjoyed the local hiking, biking, golfing and festivals in Grand Lake. PERFECT place for a large group. You MUST rent the entire place, single rooms are not available.

The place was clean and comfy and fully equipped, the beds were sturdy and had decent linens. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishware and cutlery. We cooked all our own food and enjoyed being able to sit together at the large dining table. There is a gas grill outside too! The large porch was wonderful to sit outside and drink coffee, or listen to the birds. There is a Karaoke machine and plenty of games and books onsite.

“Eagle Eye Retreat – Rustic Cabin lodge with modern amenities”
I recently spent a weekend with a small group at this site. The short version is that there is a lare fireplace with chopped firewood, Free wireless, steam room that works, 3 bathrooms, TV with cable in the common room, 6 furnished private rooms for couples, 10 bunks in the 3rd floor attic for kids or singles, a 7th bedroom on the third level, Fully equipped kitchen with gas grill, griddle, and stove, silverware and dishes, dishwasher, land line and even board games for that get-away-from-your-pc-for-the-weekend. The location is secluded on the side of a nice scenic valley, near a river, and overlooking an open field with livestock. The rates for renting this cabin for any business trip, seminar, or other group gathering, such as small fellowships, is very meager for the rustic, western-style accomodations. The location is 3 miles west of Grandby, and about 11 miles from the Sulfer Hot Springs (to the west). If you are looking for a quality cabin for a group of 20 – 30, this is the place! They even have a free laundry closet if you need.

“Great Getaway!!!”
Great place to visit.  The onsite hostess, Kim, was amazing. Anything we needed, she was right there with it. My family brought our dog and the hosts dogs got along with ours and it was not a problem! We were able to go rafting and went to Winter Park to enjoy the Alpine slide. The grocery store is only about 5 miles away, that is VERY convenient. The trains were a little loud, but, it was a new experience for us for sure! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
